these are the stories of my family....

They were young, they were full of hope, and determined to find a better life - free from the virulent anti-semitism and deadly pogroms in their homelands. They came from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Germany, and what is now modern Poland, across Europe to England. They were part of the mass Jewish Exodus heading west at the turn of the 19th. century. They did not have smart phones, air travel, credit cards, motor cars, social media or the Internet, conveniences we all have these days. Yet they made this incredible journey across Europe to England.
